Hi, I’m Zoe
My personal health story
My own path into this work wasn't accidental.
I spent years navigating digestive issues and an autoimmune condition, Hashimoto’s — working through a conventional system that was thorough in diagnosing, but rarely asked the question underneath: why is this happening?
That question changed everything for me. It led me away from symptom management and toward a deeper understanding of how the body actually works — how gut function, immune regulation and stress physiology are connected, and how addressing those connections changes outcomes in a way that treating symptoms alone simply doesn't.
That experience is what I bring to every client I work with. Not just the clinical training, but the first-hand understanding of what it feels like to be unwell in a way that conventional medicine can't fully explain — and the genuine belief that there is usually an answer, if you're willing to look for the right drivers.
An integrative practitioner - with a foundation in both worlds
I've been working in health for over a decade, beginning with a pharmacy degree from the University of Otago and clinical experience across community, hospital, compounding and clinical pharmacy settings.
That background gives me something most naturopaths don't have — a working knowledge of how conventional medicine operates, where it serves people well, and where the gaps are. I understand how medications work, how standard pathology is interpreted, and how to work alongside a client's existing medical care rather than around it.
From there, I completed further training in nutrition and naturopathy — deepening my understanding of how to support the body through evidence-informed natural medicine. Today, that combination shapes everything about how I practice: clinically rigorous, naturally focused, and always looking for the underlying drivers rather than the surface presentation.
